PROFIT ON AQUACULTURE International Conference Organizing Committee Meeting held on 19.11.2016 at Bhimavaram New schedule announced: from 11 – 14 February 2017

The first Organizing Committee Meeting of "Profit on Aquaculture" Conference was held on 19.11.2016 at Hotel Ananda Inn, Bhimavaram. This meeting was held to review the progress in organizing the Conference.

The Meeting was chaired by Shri. Rama Sankar Naik, IAS, Commissioner of Fisheries, Govt. of Andhra Pradesh. The officials from state department of Fisheries, S.V. Veterinary University, MPEDA and representatives from Aquaculture and fisheries industries attended the meeting.

The meeting reviewed various organizational issues of the Conference and has decided that in order to get the best outcomes from the Conference and to facilitate its smooth organization, the conference shall be postponed to the new dates: from 11 – 14 February 2017.Only the dates have changed and the technical program still remains the same.

PROFIT AQUA 2017 will be the fifth major aquaculture conference in Andhra Pradesh organised by Uddaraju Anandaraju Foundation, Bhimavaram, jointly with Aquaculture and Aquatic Resource Management Division of Asian Institute of Technology, Thailand, Dept. of Fisheries Gov. of Andhra Pradesh & SV Veterinary University Tirupati in a series called ‘PROFIT ON AQUACULTURE’.

It will feature the latest trends in aquaculture from all over the world – intensive shrimp farming, novel fish farming technologies, nutrition and feed technologies, aquatic health management, and genetics, to name a few.
